Reality Review: Girlfriend Confidential LA

Sooooo I finally caught up with the new reality show on Oxygen, Girlfriend Confidential LA..  

The show features the life of four girlfriends living out their dreams in LA, chatting about boys, fashion, careers and (making it all the way on top..) ~quoted- Eva Marcille

The cast members includes Eva "the Diva" Marcille best know as "America's Next Top Model".. This chick of fab, & I absolutely love her style....

Then we have, Nikki Chu, a high profile designer who just rooted her company, Nikki Chu Designs.. She seems to have it all together and I love her cute Red Hot Bob!..

My Favorite is Kelly Marie Dunn, which happens to be a L.A. based Talent Manager with a ton of experience and holds a whole lot of grind in her bones.. Love her to pieces..

And finally, there's Denyce Lawton, an actress seen in several Tyler Perry Movies who is seeking that role to place her on the map to fame...

My Brief Review: The show was absolutely fabulous.. I love the fashion, I love the ladies and I'm curious to see how the show turns out.. BUT I must say, I was a bit disappointed with Eva's boyfriend and that Grill in his mouth... Yuck.. I didn't expect that coming from her but hey, whatever makes you happy I suppose...

Or how Denyce kept throwing the B bombs out there but I can't forget this IS reality t.v.,Right?!?

However, I love the grind between the ladies & it shows their hustling hard attitude without the crutch of a man... I see them making some noise in Reality T.V I wish them the best..

FANTASIA.. This might be your year to Shine!!!

So I'm flipping through my television during the Christmas holiday & I notice yet another celebrity has their own reality tv show.. (Sidebar thought, this has been the ongoing trend for celebs these days. Is this what making a dollar boils down to?)..But anyway guess who??? As if you already didn't know.. Song bird, Fantasia.. Interesting, you say.. Well, I say the show may actually be good.. It looks like VH1 gave her a slot & the premise of show will chronicle her life as a singer and single mother. Interesting enough to see.. The show premieres on January 11th @10pm...

Also, I can't forget about Atlanta's very own THE GLAM BAR which was featured in this issue of UPSCALE MAGAZINE.. Kudos to this salon as well as THE GARNER CIRCLE as its becoming one of the HOT SPOTS in ATL to get those DO's done!! page 56 is where its at..

SINGER MONICA STILL STANDS...

Last week, BET, Upscale Magazine, & Hennessy Black celebrated Monica's new reality show "STILL STANDING which premiers on BET, Tuesday October 27th... Celebs graced the red carpet to show love to the Atlanta Native at the fabulous Bocado Restaurant in Atlanta... Familiar faces that came out to support were Jagged Edge, My girl, Kaira Akita, Bryan Michael Cox, Mychael Knight & many more.. I have to shout out Hennessy Black, Dubose Ent., Upscale Magazine, The Starfire Group, The Garner Circle PR and BET Networks for putting together yet another great event..

ATL HOUSEWIFE NENE LEAKES POSES FOR DEREK BLANKS!!

Ya Girl Nene from ATL's Housewives poses for celebrity photographer Derek Blanks... Do we likey?? Well the pictures speak for themselves...

Although, I'm not a big fan of the reality show, for some reason Nene stuck out from the rest... With her mess all in the tabloids you can't help but wonder what life is really like in front of the cameras..

But I truly believe she is misunderstood with her blatant remarks & her "In Ya face" attitude..

I'm sure when next season arrives we'll all be craving to see what antics she displays next..

STYLISTA..THE FINAL THREE..& WHO GOT THE BOOT..

Last night I got a chance to catch up on my weekly dose of Stylista.. Although I'm not much of a fan.. I did see last night's episode..Honestly, I was a little disappointed that Ashlee got the boot!!! I thought she would hold it down till the end. Well... I guess that wasn't the case when Anne Slowey made her cut.. But I'm sure she'll be well rewarded later on..Get it Girl.. And I know we'll see you soon.. doing ya thing out there in FASHION LAND!!

So the final three remain... Ashlie, DyShaun & (Johanna, whom I hope to win).. While Johanna may be a virgin to the fashion biz... She definitely exudes personal style, passion & drive like she's been in the game for a minute..... I love the fact that she's hungry for fashion.. Don't U??? U gotta LOVE the motivation .. 28yrs and in her prime she is a perfect example that you can GET IT at any age...Hell, just like these teeny boppers out there..hehe

So for the sake of Johanna, I'll contribute my television rating to tune in to see when she takes the crown from Ashlie & DyShaun.. Yup, I sure will!!
