2012 Fashion's Night Out PSA..

Hey beauties.. September 6th is approaching and we all know what time it is.. Its Fashion's Night Out and we're so excited about it.. The PSA  includes cameo's from Usher, Solange, Justin Beiber, Tyson Chandler and much more... Stores will keep its doors open late all over the world to meet & greet Designers, Models, Entertainers, Artists & Basketball Players while shopping and partying the night away....

Diane von Furstenberg: Solange is set to DJ the party at DVF's Washington Street store
M.A.C Cosmetics: Azealia Banks will be performing at the cosmetic store's 506 Broadway location. 
Calvin Klein: Dwyane Wade will be at the 654 Madison Avenue store. 
Henri Bendel: Enjoy The Circus- Cirque Du Soleil will be in the building!
Alexis Bittar: The jewelry line is throwing a karaoke party at its SoHo store. and will be raffling off a $50 gift card to the best singer..

This should be an interesting evening... Frank Ski's presents- The Couture for Change Bi-Annual Fashion Show. Very,Very Nice Event... The night will be filled with philanthropy and fashion and whole lot of networking.. The fashion show will feature celebrity hosts, fashion designers, models and vendors..Great opportunity to mingle with some industry elites.. Be sure to stay for the after party at Frank Ski's Restaurant...The proceeds of this wonderful event will be go to disadvantaged families of Higher Family Achievement..

Ok, I ran across this pic of Antonique Smith ..You might know her from the Biggie Smalls "Notorious" film where she played the role of Faith Evans whom she claims to be good friends with since taping the movie..

But I have to change lanes for a second.. DO YOU SEE THIS GOWN??  My jaw dropped... Gorgeous, Just Gorgeous... I've searched and searched online everywhere to locate info of the designer.. Nada!!

Just thought I'd share and if anyone knows who the designer is please share the info..

Meet Kim Roxie Of Lamik Beauty Line This WEEKEND...

For all you make-up heads... Kim Roxie will be at Southlake Mall this weekend featuring her line to the new location.. The CAU graduate launched Lamik a few years back and is doing extremely well.. I'm so amazed because I had the pleasure of meeting her a while back and so proud to see how well the line is doing... And might I add, Ms. Roxie looks great and its no surprise..

Any who, this Eco-Chic Makeup Line follows a mantra that reveals "Beauty is Revealed, Not Applied".. Don't you just love that?  So check out this event and support this chick cause Kim Roxie Rocks!!!!

It's that time of year again.. The Kidz are back to school and what a great way to kick off the new school year with  All About The Kidz Fashion Show & Talent showcase..

ABS Fine Art & Apparel is sponsoring a benefit fashion show on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 5:00 p.m., featuring fashions from Kathalyn Wilson, Beatrice Washington, Victoria Aiken, and Krystal Davis. ABS Fine Art & Apparel will also be featured. 




The event benefits World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. 

The benefit fashion show will be held at 

JS Venue Plus

.....As a child my mother would go to consignment shops and purchase all these great pieces that  I could care less about nor did I want to tell anymore where I got them from....
