As we all know models are a huge part of the fashion industry & usually we don't find much older models "rippin' the runway".. Well that wasn't the case when designer, Jean-Paul Gaultier hired 51 yr old model, Ines de La Fressange to strut his catwalk for Paris Fashion Week!!! Best known in the 80's for being the first model to sign with Haute Couture Fashion House-Chanel, Fressange is back strutting the catwalk giving those teeny boppers a run for their money..But who's to say that when you reach that " certain peak" modeling isn't an option??? Who ever wrote the rules for that isshh should be banished from fashion FOREVER..

Ya Boy Andre 3000 has been nominated for Best New Designer in America for his preppy inspired men’s line, Benjamin Bixby.. Although, there are a few whispers floated around saying that his line may get the boot..Word on the street is that if he wins he'll receive 50k in cash & an opportunity to do a jeans collection for Levi.. Tha'ts defintely a good look for dre....Especially now if the fashion heads aren't copping Ben B's..

He first introduced Benjamin Bixby early last year, as a self-funded venture. The style of his collection is very different from what were use to by him.. It has a very clean school boy look, with a 1990's feel.. And with today's economy, I'm sure his brand would accept any funding & opportunity at this point..

Last weekend I hit up a few fashion shows & of course your girl took a few pics!!!! My first stop was Controversy Boutique's fashion show at Club Primal.. So I walked in the club dolo (thanks to my home girl Jess for ditching me last minute, )& checked out the scene.. It wasn't at all my type of party but I did appreciate the mixed crowd & the ol' skool Michael Jackson the DJ was pumping.... As I'm waiting for the show to begin, this dude approaches me with a mouth full of golds,trying to get my name & spills his drink on my clutch... At that point, I was utterly disgusted & it took all of me not to walk out... But I was there for a purpose... So I kindly walked away from ol' boy & headed straight to the stage to see the show..

Ohhhhh, how I adore Kate Hudson's Yellow Dior Dress... The "BRIDEWARS" star graced the cover of ELLE's February issue wearing this BOLD ensemble.. I must say she wears it well...I searched to find pricing on the dress but caught a dead end... I guess not knowing the $$ is still knowing because anything Dior is way above what my pockets can dish out.. But that still won't stop my grind to add this color to my spring/summer wardrobe..
